Join Balady Film Club and SPOCs for Gaza on Friday, September 25th at Mayday Space for a screening of "Gaza's Living Cinema", a collection of short films by Gazan students. Alongside the screening will be a post-film discussion and market fundraiser with refreshments. All proceeds will go towards the filmmakers and their families in Gaza.

SPOCS for Gaza is a student-led initiative, connecting education in and out of Gaza. They curate accessible courses online and manage access to electricity and internet for students in Gaza, who are active contributors to the SPOCS community. 

This event features short films made in summer 2025 by SPOC's students in Professor Ahlam Muhtaseb's Film Studies course.

We are honored to amplify their stories and support Palestinian filmmaking in Gaza.
