Join Cheers Cinema on September 24th for Sudanese Night, as they continue their international screening series with an evening exploring Sudanese cinema and storytelling through two powerful films.
The evening begins with The Last Miracle, a surreal and contemplative short inspired by a story by Nobel Prize–winning Egyptian writer Naguib Mahfouz, followed by Goodbye Julia, Mohamed Kordofani’s acclaimed feature set in Khartoum in the years leading up to the separation of South Sudan.
To complement the films, we’ll be serving a signature cocktail and zero-proof drink inspired by Sudanese flavors, along with special movie-inspired cookies created for the evening.
At Cheers Cinema, we bring together film, mixology, and food to create an experience that extends beyond the screen.
Join us for an evening of cinema, flavor, and Sudanese storytelling.
