SPEED SISTERS (2015) dir. Amber Fares

Big Sister Film Club is excited to announce that they next event will be a Palestine fundraise & film screening hosted by Ridgewood Commons in Queens.

Directed by Amber Fares in 2015, Speed Sisters follows the first all-women race-car driving team in the middle east. the film highlights their passion for motorsports as they compete while challenging social expectations and navigating personal and political obstacles.

All funds raised will be sent directly to Dahnoun Mutual Aid, a group of grassroots organizers led entirely by Palestinians inside and outside of Gaza working to provide life-sustaining aid to the people of Palestine.
